Can someone please help a poor norwegian guy who has been screwed by mr. Halverson??

I'm not slike here, but I til have been screwed by DWHalverson. In october I sent him over 6500$, carbs and head. In march I got my carbs back, and of course the turbokit was sure to follow shortly. Now he can't be contacted by e-mail, pm, phones are not working and I don't know what to do....
It's not easy building some sort of legal claim from over here, so I'm hoping some og you other pissed of guys can lend me a hand.

This guy has ruined my winter and taken a whole lot of my money, so I would be forever greatful if somebody could find it in their hart to include me in their plan... if not I'm afraid good old Dave will just take all my money without a fight...

Scum-bags like this get away this crap every day. You cant get blood from a stone.
I got screwed out of over $12,000 by a trades person last year and he's gonna get away with it because he can hide behind government programs like "bankrupsy protection" and "consumer proposal" bs. Programs that allow you to screw people out of hard earned money and not be punished or be held accountable. He will not pay a cent to anyone he screwed.........except the government that is, cause they don't cut you any slack on taxes owed to them.
I.ve followed this Holverson issue since last year and the whole thing looks like the script from the the gong show I have been in for over a year now.
You think a visit to his house will get you anything.....ya right. Maybe a trip to the court house and a criminal record. People like this make it hard for honest people to gain trust from otherwise innocent consumers and destroy ones faith in a mans word. Good luck in your quest guys but you may want to consider investing your resources in something more productive.
 
No news, other than I got an email where he said he had some personal trouble, but wanted to get this terrible deal finished. He was looking into selling some property to get money to finish the kits. Of course I can't say I believe him, so here I stand....
I know a visit to his house wouldn't get me any money or parts, but more than once I've looked at plane tickets....

Think most who sent the fraud a check have an address for him/his wife , x wife again ,, who knows..

the real problem is getting him to produce some funds for those he took advantage of.
Dave and Jake built some real offensive kits ,, poor fitments, poor welds to say the least , bent needles???? how do you bend the needles.. ??

please someone in his area get him to make at least a realistic statement to these people...

I didn't get any address, just have some phonenumbers that don't work any more. I would really appreciate some clarification, allthough I can't see any happy ending to this deal... I don't think I should gi knocking on his door, because from what I understand us prisons aren't a nice place to bee....
 
This thing still is not done. WOW, I just happened to stumble into this post. I remember reading about this a year ago? How in the hell is this not delt with yet? It is obvious he screwed people out of alot of money. How can someone do that, and not have repercussions of there actions in a more timely manner?

Maybe he fell on hard times, but the people that got screwed are in hard times without there money or product that was promised by him. But it really doesn't make sense. He took money from people for a turbo kit. If he had the kits or had to build the kits you would surely know what they were going to cost, and add some money for profit. SO what happened to the money? If his vendors **** on him and didn't send him product, he would still have the money from people to give back to them

I would almost bet, that he still reads these posts. I hope the people involved get there money back soon.

I'm glad mr joshouah is getting his money back after his day in court, but building a case from half way across the earth isn't someting i'm capable of i'm afraid... So i guess my 6500$ are lost... This darn mess has almost taken the joy out of sledding for me... But it isn't easy when you are in the market for something like a tubokit and the hype among everyone is so big, that you have to believe it! I guess i was a bit naive, but thats just me and all sleadheads i have dealt with have been stand up guys! So better luck to all you other guys out there buying a great mod for your sled! And if anyone see Dave somewhere out for a drink, tell him to buy you one and that that one is on Tom Handeland!
