Gonna be so many people snow checking that have never bought a polaris before the factory is gonna need to be added on to!!Me being one...sorry A/C

Time will tell, but i think youre right. They delivered my '12 over a month past the estimated date.

After a big snow check year and another one even bigger this year they'll know what to expect

Rumour has it that Scuds will have a belt drive too this year. I think there will be those who cross over to the light side of the force but those that are really entrenched with the dark side will be stay there no matter what they build for next year. I hope to start seeing what the others are doing just for comparison. I think it is quite ball-sy for Polaris to tip their hats this early. Maybe not, but it gives the others time to adjust marketing and what they will be offering for next year.

I hope Doo has something big or everyone will be riding Pro's next year!

I heard about the belt drive too. Not sure...I guess we'll see soon.

Polaris is usually the LAST to show...so this year they are totally changing their plan. Wonder why.

EVERYONE (well except maybe Yamaha) is trying to do something for good ole lucky #13.

Not everyone, I think AC will just be fixing the PC to be what it should have been this year.

1. The mountain sled volume is a fraction of trail sleds produced by the OEMs.

2. When snowfall is low or late, trail sled demand drops off incredibly the following year, especially after a big snow year. All the OEM's know this, and track the correlation. They just run the RMK line longer, and Pro-Ride shorter.

I don't think poo will have a problem making a few thousand more RMKs for 2013.

And there is no excuse for them being late. Didn't they have a $1000 bonus some time ago if they were late? Maybe they will this time. They make their sleds in the summer and wheelers in the winter. But now that their moving their wheeler production to Mexico I'll never buy one again.:face-icon-small-fro

ATV and UTV production still in US. Mexico plant is for export to destinations south.

Thank our labor unions for any job that leaves our borders.

YO MAFESTO any ATV UTV you purchase up here will be made up here; Mex only takes care of the 7 southern states anyway how do you survive buying a car or truck or electronics

Thank our labor unions for any job that leaves our borders.

In an interview, CEO Scott Wine said Polaris will pay its Mexican workforce one-third of what it now pays workers at its plants -- all nonunion -- in Osceola, Roseau, Minn., and Spirit Lake, Iowa.

Those dramatically lower labor costs were the reason Polaris rejected the idea of building a plant in the southern United States, even though that would have accomplished the goal of getting the company closer to faster-growing all-terrain-vehicle markets in states like Texas, Arizona and California. The snowmobiles that gave the company its start more than 50 years ago have been a dwindling part of its business for several years. ATVs now make up 65 percent of the company's sales.

Demand is the least of their problems. As mentioned before the mountain sales are small compared to the rest. But I think the attention of the mountain riding fits well into their PR. I am sure Burandt is getting pretty good coin out of this.
