camping generators question

my dad had the 300 honda nand it would not run his AC, he ended up going with 2 2000 honda's. pickybacked. spendy but works well and only need to run one majority of the time

LOL. Most campgrounds dont allow you to run generator all night. So I guess it depends where you are camping and with who to what kind of generator you buy.

Same here...

Go to your local Schucks and pick up a Champion 4000w for $299.00. It will run your ac unit with the microwave running and the stereo blasting. I've been using one for 6 years now, it works awsome.

Works real well for us.

Most of the provincial campgrounds around here (as far as I know) all have electricity and therefore I don't think I would have a need for the generator there. This would be moreso for loading up the quads, heading down a mountain road and spending a week away from everyone. Having said that, I think the quiet ones are still worthwile as you never know when you might need it.
Thanks for all the replies so far.:beer;:D

In Montana we dont go to campgrounds, The improved campgrounds are for tourists we go park in a field and make our own.

It's not camping if you need a generator, haha. Sleep outdoors in a tent.
