Callaghan and Brandy closure info

Click again at the top of the page.Thats quite the huge no sled zone,i thought it was only around the callaghan access that was closed,no half the freakin glacier down to powder Mtn!

I'm sure the Heli skiers will love that,no more sleds in the Valley. We got scammed by the Government!Thats a huge no go zone for a bunch of granola packin touring and xc skiers.I guess they figure their $$ are worth more than ours...can't see the area payin off when they wont see many visits!Freakin pissed off !!!

This Bites---What is the matter with those Government yahoo's??

They think that no one is going to come in from the other side or what?

Looks like Pemberton had better get more hotels and restaurents built to house all us sledders!!!

H20SKE...

This is a very sad day but you still can get around from brandywine to rutherford.. We did lose a lot of play areas.

Their term "Multi use" is something that doesnt make sense. Skier's etc are going to use our areas anyway.

Looks like you still could access to Mt Sproatt from Callahan road.

Olympics?

Support the bid, lose a place to sled. This is a wake up call if there was ever one!

Closing Callaghan leaves a sweet playground for all the Euros on the Heli skiing operations that will love not having us in there.I'd say the big $$ Heli groups made sure we were pushed away and down to the Branywine trail with 3 "beautiful" parking lots and a port a potty.Enjoy hackin the powder there Euro fat ski fa*gs -----see ya at the top!

Zactly!!!

So brandy is still open??? I looked at the brochure and the brandy trail is clearly marked snowmobile trail... Why don't we all just go hack up the hills anyways??? how will they enforce this? I'm not rying to be a dik. I actually want to know how they will enforce it? I'll just ride Brohm if thats all I'm left with but this is getting to be a joke with no punchline in sight.

What are companies like Blackcomb snowmobile tours doing with this closure... Isn't that like 90% of their tenure?

Anywhere left
