Hey we are going to start a Dealer Only section I need your input Please dealers only. It will be a Private section I think I have a way to keep it dealers only with some ID that only dealers have. The other thing is that the only way this will work to all of the dealer's advantage is if we get all cat dealer to be involved and it will be beneficial.

What I would like to see.

Parts Needed area so as if cat runs out.
Over stock need to move.
Tech area if you need or find something we should know.

Just to start I guess before cat tracker they had something like this and it was very useful.

Also we want you to use dealer names as user name and also use signature.

Sounds like a great idea, that sort of communication could be very usefull for mitigating overstock if it were to include multi regional participation. Maybe we could get eastern dealers involved also.

As we get close we will put together a plan to get all at least snow dealers on. It would help if they all chimed in.

As the SnoWest site continues to evolve and change over this fall, you will see more and more effort being placed on MANUFACTURER, DISTRIBUTOR & DEALER support.

SnoWest WANTS to help you guys out in any way we can.

Our industry is not growing at the moment, and we all need to be working together to survive the current economic challenges!

As for Artic Cat, last count we have lost 17 dealers in the inter-mountain region in 2009, and that is NOT GOOD for the sport.

If these private dealer only forums will assist and support you in your business, KNOW that we at SnoWest will do all that we can to make it happen.
 
And that's just the ones you know about. That doesnt count guys and gals that are hanging on by a thread, mortgaging their homes, and all they have to keep the ball rolling. Like Kevin said, it would be nice to know if you need a Puma cylinder and another dealer has one laying around (and has been for 20 years) you can pick it up and offer it to a customer at a savings.

Times are tough for all manufacturers in all industries right now. We need to work together and get through this. Just like any trial, when you get through the other side you will be stronger.

Also, Christopher, I just want to thank you and Snowest. This has become the #1 site in the US as far as I am concerned. :)
 
Good to hear, I have had my issues with the site and how things were done over the years (just ask Dean), but it is really cleaning up nice.
Count me in as well for the dealer section.

Dealer Forum

Dealer Forum can you contact any dealers you know that are on or not on snowest and get me names if they are not members have them join. We are going to start gearing up and will work better if we have a list.

This will be a secure and private dealer forum only no public. We will need copy of Business license, Copy of an Invoice from Cat and a pic of location. I recommend that you use your dealer name as user name please.

I'm not a dealer. but as a customer, I think this is a great idea. The more information that is shared between dealers, the better the service will be. With the shared experience of what the answer to a problem is and where to find parts quickly, all dealers and customers will benifit. SW should then post a list of all dealers involved with the program.
