How many of the people in Colorado were born and raised there? I've been here my whole life. 4th Generation, and it's funny to hear the "locals" talk about how they've been here since 1992.

Nah we're driving out. Its about 16 hours if we obey the law, although through the wastelands they call nevada and utah its hard to keep a light foot sometimes. We're planning to leave thursday morning, so if we tag-team it we should be there thursday night or early friday.

And yes, I'm stoked, I can hardly contain myself. Spent the last two days doing ski-patrol here in Tahoe and our snow pack SUCKS. Its the middle of January and we still have dirt showing at 7500 feet.

Hey everyone, new to the boards, just wanted to stop in and say hello. If the topic alarmed you, not to worry, California isn't planning a mass exodus just yet. Just 2 sledders heading out your way in a couple weeks. I know everyone hates Californians, so instead of being outted at a later date, I thought I'd put it on the table.

So we're going to be out there from jan 16th through the 26th. We've got a buddy in Boulder, so we'll be basing out of there. I'd love to hear some suggestions as to where to go ride. We also both snowboard, so we'd like to ride some backcountry as well as hit a few major resorts.

If anyone dares to meet up with us (don't worry we won't tell your friends you rode with cali kids) we'd love to find a small-ish group of intermediate-advanced riders to show us around.

Californy, Boulder. AHHHHHHH. I'm sorry, but this has liberal tree hugging written all over it. Is this a set up? LOL MTNDOO knows all of the great places. Seriously, Vail Pass might be good depending on what you have for sleds. Easy access right off I-70. Grand Lake area also. trails are groomed. VP has skiing/sledding areas.

The first DON'T CALIFORNICATE COLORADO bumper sticker hit the road in 1976--didn't do much to stop the immigrants--damage is done, come on over. Back country skiing is really good at Vail Pass. Make sure you have an ABS.

At least you don't talk funny like our Minnesota buddies.
