C3 Belt Drive Installed

I'm tossing around the idea of upgrading my sled with their belt drive kit. Anyone have one on their sled?

If so, notice any improvement?

Any cons about having the kit?

Just trying to decide if the $$$ for the kit will be worth the gains, if any - and potential weight loss.

PLEASE DO NOT MENTION THE POLARIS BELT DRIVE SYSTEM!!!!!!!!!!!
IF YOU DO I WILL ASK THE MODS TO DELETE YOUR POST.

I'll be sure to ask you 2 for your opinion on whether a mod is worth it the next time I think about spending MY $$$ on something.

spend your money on whatever u want im not saying it wouldnt look cool or work just alot of money is all for me anyway . just adding my 2 cents

For those that are interested, the syncrodrive kit is $900 and a spare belt is now $100 when buying the syncrodrive kit.

The $950 mentioned before was a special offer of 50% off a spare belt when purchasing the syncrodrive kit. That special offer is now gone.

Went ahead an ordered a kit. I installed it yesterday. Now I just need some snow to go try it out and get the break-in done (C3 says about 20-30 miles). This whole kit weighs less than the chain I took off.

How does the tensor work??? you loosen the nut on the roller on the triangle plate then what does the long adjustment screw push on???

You use your stock bolt to tension the belt. The bolt pushes on a small tab on the tension arm. Once the proper tension is achieved, torque the nut on the plate, then back off the OEM tension bolt a quarter turn and tighten the OEM jam nut.
