I didn't ban him. I did delete his post though. It was uncalled for. I just changed his profanity to gripe. I didn't issue an infraction or even a warning, until he said what he did in his last post.
I don't understand why there is so much hatred and animosity directed at new members to the forum. It seems to be a theme lately, I've seen several other posts on the WA riding areas forum with the same sentiment toward new members.
I mostly just lurk the WA riding areas forum to learn more about local riding areas. Lately it's like waiting for the next episode of The Battling Bickersons.
Maybe if alot of the new members on here weren't fakes there would be alot less resentment. It's not only what is happening that is the problem, it is the way that the powers that be are going about it. Take it for what it's worth.
I don't use alters so I can't/won't comment. What I am talking about is the people the mysteriously appeared that stick up for Christopher and what he is doing. You, have been around quite a while and don't fit into that. What does blow me away is that with all of the deceit that is going on lately by the powers that be(deleted posts, changed words, etc), that you seem to be sticking up for them.
I am not sticking up for them. I am putting down the people that continue to act like children that aren't getting what they want, and whose only purpose on here is to disrupt the site. I like(d) snowest. Maybe I won't in the future, but when the time comes, I am not going to cry about it, and throw a temper tantrum.
If the worthiness of noobs is continually looked down upon, how will a site ever grow. I don't care if a person has 1 post or 10,000 posts. A persons voice should be judged by what they are saying, not their "status"...
As to the deceit? I think you are looking way too malicious at the context. What is the answer / response to people who continue to not obey the rules, and continue to do things that the admin of the site don't want you to do?
I don't have anything bad to say about the "noobs". As long as they are sledders and not Christophers cronies. Post count has a little to do with status, not much. I did have one of my posts deleted. The reason was "immature crap by a mod". That is what they said not me. I have enjoyed Snowest and have learned a lot from this site. Maybe you haven't seen some of the stuff that has been done on here. I have.
I agree, I wish things would get back to sledding and not so much bickering. It's a case of he said he said over an over. Just wish everyone would unplug the keyboard and go sledding for a weekend.

I'm glad there was clarification on what a "fake" was. I thought maybe it meant "poser" or "wannabe", and I started thinking maybe I'm a fake and don't even know it.
