By By Timbersled Hellow Camso

The advertised weight was wrong last year vs what the scale measure. 2018 advertise weight is more accurate. Altough, even if it is a tougher frame this year the overall weight is a little bit lighter.

Yup, gonna be getting a Camso this year instead of the TS ARO. I think for my purposes and as an introduction to the sport, you can't beat the price. Dealer is 2 minutes from my house and treats me really good, so I'll be happy.

My Yeti 129 worked as well or better than the Camso in every condition including deep fluff. It is more expensive. Camso owns Yeti now so we will see what they do with their kits.

Just ordered the 18 Camso for $4000 from dealer. I had shopped around and they beat another dealers offer about 50 miles away. Should have it in a week or so. They said 2 week delivery time. Going on a new holdover 17 CRX450RX. So far I have sitting waiting to go on the bike:
Unabiker rad guards
Trail tech vapor
Thermo bob 3
Air pro fork system
Fork seal covers
Seat concepts seat
PST engine jacket and cold weather panel
Cycra hand guards
Hand warmers

Still looking to buy a light system and dual sport kit for summer. Kinda liking the kits on Pro cycles website but haven’t pulled the trigger yet.

I have both Cyclops and task lighting... I would have to disagree.... They have a better mounting system but for pure bright light I like the task way more for night riding... It's seems to be brighter in every way...

Hadn’t heard of task before. Their stuff looks durable and bright. Only thing missing is the hi-low function required by my state law for road use. Unless I missed it the light bars only have an on off switch.

which models do you have of each?>?

Not sure how this thread got hijacked by lighting discussion but anyways......

Back to the Camso kit. Not having much luck finding info on the upgrades for 2018 other than the product bulletin release.

Very interested to see if the ski updates (new rubber and outer guide runners) make a big difference.

Also Camso was doing some free recalls on the limiter straps and braking system. My dealer got the updated rotor and pads to swap out at no cost.

Whats the upgrade to the shock? just says recalibrated

Anyone seen an actual parts list for the updates or any dealers throwing together a complete kit??

This post lists the updates: https://www.snowest.com/forum/showthread.php?t=433723

Got a little more info on the 2018 DTS upgrade kit.
Total for all updated parts is just over $700 CAD.
This includes, ski runners, ski rubber, upgraded shock, HD strut rod, 8" wheel kit, rear tensioner, chain guide.
As I mentioned before the new adjustable limiter strap and brake pads/rotor design were free on recall. Dealer just needs sn#.
All parts were available shipping out of Quebec.
