Buying older used kits

FAKE NEWS. A few guys on early rides have hit stuff and bent spindles. Alot of guys, including me, have hit stuff, and NOT damaged anything.
How about let's agree to disagree. Not fake when there's pics all over facebook. I'm a Tsled fan too so its not easy to accept but it's not fake news..look for yourself.

Not to start anything but I did do a search on the Facebook page i believe you're referring to because I'm genuinely interested to see how everyone elses are holding up and i couldn't find anything. If so, why haven't they posted on any of the ARO reviews on here? I mean if they're out in the early season with low snow anything could happen to any kit. I haven't hit anything major this year but I've been out 6 times in early season conditions with no issues. This includes several miles of riding gravel. I hope it's not true but this is the first time I've heard of this. If Reagan, Brock and Ronnie aren't breaking them, I'm sure mine will be fine.

I've been laid up waiting on surgery and nothing better to do than follow my passion. There have been many bent spindles (most due to the fork mounts moving in the slots), weak skis ( seems like a bad batch as some have no issues), stabbed tracks, many broken gas can mounts, etc. Yes a lot is most likely due to early season but I've never seen so many issues from timbersled. And the guys you mentioned would never say anything cause they would lose their job.

Bummer dude. I did hear of the slots on the spindles pulling the bolts through. I added larger washers and made sure to torque to spec on mine to make sure it doesn't suck through. True though, we wouldn't hear about those guys breaking stuff. I'm just gonna run it man. If it breaks, it breaks but that would suck!

Some guys are adding the spacers to the front mount hole as well. Hope you got one of the good ones.
