Buying enclosed v-nose...need advice

I have a 7.5X18 w/6' vee nose. I have had 2 163's, and 2 154's in it. Just have to invert and stagger. Sometimes a guy has to be creative and try a few different arrangements with the sleds. Pack your gear around the sleds and you are good to go. I have also pulled a 7X22 w5' vee nose, and that pulls a little nicer because of the width. When you need a workshop though, the 7.5 width is a lot nicer to work in.

what brand is the 7.5'x 18'?

I"m curious on how long of an inline you would need to haul 6 sleds without disassembling them in any way (ski's).????????????

Anyone have a fith wheel inline they use for sleds?

i'm sure opinions will vary, but would you guys rank the top 3-4-5 brands in terms of quality?

looking for all aluminum construction, probably 7' wide...3-4 place.

thanks.

Greetings Soft Hat,

1. Featherlite
2. ATC
3. Triton
4. Charmac
5. Nash

Added #'s 1 & 2 to your original request.

Have fun, Craig.

I never looked for this brand when I was shopping for one last fall, but picked up a used 2008 MTI 7'x22' with a 4 ' V. Side and gas doors, aluminum wheels, fully lined inside, 6' interior height. This trailer pulled excellent with my Duramax on our two trips to Montana. Hit a lot of crosswinds and had no sway whatsoever, also rode very smooth with the radials, sleds never moved an inch in 1000 miles. The quality of the trailer seemed top notch and I believe it weighed out at 3200 empty. Pulled it up north with buddies 5.3 half ton, 5 sleds in it and it handled fine. He even commented it pulled easier than our 3 place sled bed open trailer with the short fat 20" tires.

We have a 2004 20' Featherlite Rocky Mountain Ed. with about 40'000 miles on it and no issues yet, it doubles as a trailer for the business so it gets lots of use. Sleds in the winter and wheelers in the summer, i have had 5 polaris sporstman's in there (500's and 700's) so it has had a good load in it. I have not owned any other enclosed trailers so i can't say that featherlite is the best but mine has been good to us.

With the 7' wide sled can you drive a sled by another or do you have to go out one by one? I have a Mirage. Good trailer but it's heavy. 24' box plus the v nose and its 8' wide. I'm also looking to upgrade to an all aluminum trailer. My mileage is about 8 overall behind a Tundra. I just put a 46 gallon gas tank in it and it doubled my range. The stock tank would only get me 200 miles in the mountains.
