Butte Meadows Hillsliders BBQ

Dude! I SO was going to come to this untill my wife REMINDED me I have to take my daughter to camp at 3:...no way I can make it up there by then..... :( You guys have fun for me!
 
Fire and sheriff's officials in Butte County have lifted the last of the evacuation orders related to the Butte Lightning Complex Fires.
As of 6 p.m. Thursday evacuation orders were lifted for Jonesville, Butte Meadows, and the Camp Lassen Boy Scout camp.

However, a plan to reopen Highway 32 from the old Humboldt Road cut-off to Highway 36 apparently was reversed.

A press release said highway was to be open to "normal" traffic at about 9 p.m. Thursday. However, the Butte County Public Works website said as of 11 p.m. Highway 32 was still closed and the Caltrans website confirms Highway 32 in that area remains closed because of the fire.

Sorry to beat the thing to death. There is no problem with access to Butte Meadows so grab a friend and we'll see you there. Humbug road is open, I don't know about Humboldt yet, but humbug is a much better drive for your vehicle if your coming from the Chester side.

I'm home and had a GREAT TIME. I was nice to see some old faces and meet a lot of new ones.

Again thanks to the Hillsliders for a good BBQ and lots of fun.
 
John, Jeff, Chadd, Mike and Lane - it was great to meet all you guys(and significant others) today. Thanks for taking the time and putting in the super effort. I'd love to get a few rides in with you this year, hope I'm worthy. Chadd - did you guys cross over Bolt Creek and take Humbug Road back to Chester?
