Busted up sled today

So while boondocking some trees today a buddy and i had a difference in directions we were going and he landed directly on my left side a arm completly blew apart my upper a arm bent shock destroyed my belly pan an left side pannel as for my question
In up grading the front suspention will 09 spindles fit stock 05 a arms or do I need to upgrade all suspention parts just dont know where to go from here do i just replace broken with stock or upgrade ??????

I am in the process of installing the 08 spindles on my 05 Fusion 900 right now and everything fits good to the stock a-arms. The only thing you need to change is that you need a longer bolt that goes down through the upper ball joint on the upper a-arm.

You might need to add a couple of spacers if you have 05 skis as the newer spindles are narrower. I had to put the spacers on when I put the 2010 dragon rmk light weight spindles on my pretty much stock 05 fusion.

Here are the pn's I upgraded with (verify the pn's):
LH spindle: 1823487
RH spindle: 1823488
spacers: 5134885 qty 4 (2 for each ski)
longer bolt: 7518478 qty 2 (1 for each spindle)

The only thing I didn't like about the install was that the lower control arm bolt had to go in upside down (in from the bottom). I put locktite on to help make sure the nut wouldn't come off and result in the bolt falling out. It would have been safer if it would have dropped in from the top (like original install) but there wasn't enough room.

I had no problem getting the camber set properly (minor adjustment required). No adjustment was required for toe.

BTW, the reason I did this was because the top A-arm bolt where it connects to my spindle was slightly loose (for some time apparently) and chewed it's way through the mm's thick hole on the stock spindle....so check your suspension bolts regularly.
