I've never felt so worn out in my life Walking 10 Km per day over this kind of terrain is brutal on the feet and cankles. Nothing is flat and everything rolls under-foot. My ankles were black and blue for the first two weeks and my boots were getting shredded. Blisters are part of everyday life. I bought a pair of $185 Vasque boots and another 40 bucks on sock liners and cushion socks. They sure have helped with the foot pain, but will not last month before I tear them up. We lost several people the first week or two to falls and blisters. The young kids have no idea how tough this chit is on us fat old fawkers, but they're whining too.
