Burning coolant in one cylindar!

Bought used 2003 Polaris RMK Vertical Escape 800 with twin pipes. Ran for 8 miles until coolant bottle came loose and melted on exhuast, and blew the head gasket. Since then heve: replaced top-end o-ring gaskets, 3 heli-coils for stripped head bolts on left cylindar, new thermostat, new coolant bottle. Runs poor! Burning through coolant. White smoke coming out exhuast, boggy through all range of throttle, need to stop and add coolant every so often, back-fires every once in a while. This is only on the left cylindar closest the clutch. The magneto side cylindar runs ok.
Any ideas what the problem is?

it could be cracked or the base gasket. there is nothing else that you haven't done it sounds lik

Yep that side needs to be tore down and go through every thing with a fine tooth.A lot times it's the base gasket in the front of the cylinder. But it could be the other things mentioned as well.

Got hot and hairline cracked the cylinder is my vote. If you're lucky there's an o-ring that didn't sit just right when you put the head on and it's getting by that. Definitely have to pull at least the head off and check that.
