I just bought a few carriage bolts, and took them to the grinder to fit them into the slot. Used nylon locknuts to secure, and no more problems.

Yeah all you need are 1/4 - 20 caridge bolts. I have two of the Burandt bags One on my Assault and One on my Pro. I used short bolts (I think 3/4" long) with fender washers and acorn nuts so it looks a little more finished. Oh and all stainless. You don't need to grind the heads , they will drop right in the spot where the t-slots are widened.

So I'm guessing you broke one of the "feet" off ????

Had the same thing happen and took it back to the dealer and they replaced it.

The diagram is correct on the layout of the pin, washers, spacer and pull. I think the key is when you go to engage the pull or security lever to make sure you don't just push down, otherwise it will just pull on the feet and break one or both of them.

You have to watch and make sure the cross pin in the shaft starts to feed down into the notch on the pull / security lever. The other thing that might help would be to spray the pull in that area with a little bit of lube to ensure the cross pin slips into place on the lever.

I hope that makes sense??? It would be much easier to show in person.
