Burandt boards

It will work as long as the rivet holes are not inline with the existing evacuation holes. They send a template with them for 11-12 pros

I'm building three IQR mountain conversions using the stock '13 boards which I will have Hydro-Phobic Hard anodized and are the same thing (mounting wise). I opted for Carbon Fiber tunnel sides and top and using the IQ exchangers. I will fabricate the steering structure / footrest to match when the rest of the parts show up. I don't see it as a road block myself.

It will require modification at the footwell, not a bolt in deal. I just started researching this over the weekend when I saw a pair that we were putting onto a 12. But haven't been able to hold it up to an IQ to see how much will need to change. I know for a fact that the Burandt boards bolt in from the outside towards center of sled where IQ bolt in from back of footwell towards skis. If you can bend tubing and weld it can be arranged

The front mounts are at different angels but it's doable , I gettin a set for my 09

Just checked out WRP's site. They want $180 which a good price too but the Burandt boards look to be a nicer product IMO. They are identical to the 13 Pro boards but have the non stick coating on them and about $110 buck cheaper than a set of 13 Pro boards if purchased individually . Lol...go figure!

What's a WRP board cost? $250 for pair of Burandt boards. That's cheap!

Price is only an issue in the absence of value.

WRP boards cost less but what does it matter? Ready to go out the box !

What frustrates me the most is we will never quite know (erspecially any website making money on advertising) the pros and cons of each brand of board.

Would be great to see WHY a something is better in a "controlled" review.

For instance how much weight before the board fails.

Surface area and the lack there of for snow to fall thru.

What material does indeed resist sticky snow.

Sounds like a business opportunity for you, or someone. Figuring out how it is going to pay you without skewing the results would be the tricky part. Maybe Uncle Sam has a grant you could capitalize on? At least that way my tax dollars could actually benefit me.

Why not go for an WRP BOARD?

Because they won't clear snow as well as the Burandt boards..... I have had Better Boards on several sleds and while they are much better than the original boards, they don't work nearly as well as Airframes. Now with the Burandt boards, I can have clean boards for 1/2 the price of Airframes and less snow buildup and a much better looking board than any insert. Total win on the money, performance, and looks!

I know a fellow sledder who sends the US Gov't grant proposals and makes a very good living when some of the grants are approved.

From counting turtles on the beach, to the water flow rate in a stream, to monitoring sounds in the ocean. !

I just measured everything up from my dads new 13 and they are the same exact measurements I think all it's going to take a little bit bend or cut and weld the footwell board mount thing! I ordered my set of burandt boards allready

If Polaris would make the cast aluminum piece on the footwell end for IQ's in order to make the boards for both IQ and Pro, they would sell a bunch of them. But then you lessen the chance of people splurging on Pro models....I know I know & I get it

Ken's Sports online store in Wi. has the Burandt boards for $199. they also got the Airframes for $379. Free shipping....best deal in the country! The RSI dumpers are suppose to be really good for the IQ's as they go deep into the footwell. I paid $159.
