LOL But bein it was my first time up the gash and havin NM chasin me it was a rush foresure!! Congrats to Duke aka Poopchuter for his first and textbook pulls up the 90 and monster! Awesome pics and vids boys!

Thanks Hunnybuns....Was kind of wondering for minute or two if I was going to claim the 90, my RB3 crapped out and the sled was a little short on "Hortheypower". Probably helped it was good climbing snow. Good thing you carry a spare PL box, worked good. :face-icon-small-win
(Oh that hurts to say) lol

P.S. I LOVE YOU BUDDY....hahahaha

can i ask what the rb3 is? sorry guys if this sounds like a stupid question to you, i have no clue

Sorry to disappoint you, no Arm footage, the RB3 is the fuel control box I ran on my sled, it crapped out on me last trip, figured out what it was this trip. Borrowed a Pure Logic box from Render, worked great.

well since they showed monster and gash with helmet cam footage arent u a little concerened about the arm curious to see what its like i guess, sorry about that

lol, I was only wondering cuz you mentioned it 3 times in this thread. Alright boys, back up to revy and do the dual climb with the backwards helmet cam. let's see it.

That Helmet cam footage rocks, Guess i shouldn't have put the sled away. Looks like you had another awesome weekend ........... like we have had a ****ty one yet ? Ah well, works calls and i have to save for the 8 mths so we can do it all again. Keep in touch and try to suffer through the summer. Great vids by all, and thanks to NM and Adrenaline for getting that vid up for me .

Actually we had full intentions of hitting the arm and Render was going to try a new line against the rock wall. The chute looked good Sat but it was snowing really hard so we left it for Sunday and when we came back, most of the chute had sluffed out and it was ice and snow boulders. I think the arm gets a good shot of sun this time of year and goes away pretty fast.
I told Render that footage was so cool that we have to tandem all the chutes now.:face-icon-small-hap

Hey, now these shots really give you an idea of how STEEP! it really is. Great job guys!

The helicopter or fixed ground shots don't due it justice.

The helmet cam footage is awesome but I don't think any footage or pics do justice to the actual steepness of these chutes. You need to actually look up or down these things in person to truly appreciate it. Then you can decide if you would try them.

Yep, I have looked at all of these chutes myself. And like you said I have seen a lot of them in video and the are WAY steeper in real life. :)

But again these helmet cam shots do give you a better "feel" for how steep it is compared to the helicopter or bottom up shots for those that haven't been there.

Paul, Waylon, and I were thinking of heading up next week. What kind of weather do you think we are looking at? Are the chutes chunked out and icy? Sounds like we missed it by a week.:face-icon-small-fro

Awesome vid boys! I agree best footage of all for showing how long and steep the gash really is. Wicked shots duke and good climbs as well. Rinder awesome celebration with the twirl of your tether!

p.s. Summit u ask waay too many questions!

Travis...Motley and I went up this past weekend, lots of snow sliding down the chutes and a fair amount of ruts in all of them now, McLarens Mile is prob done for the year as Frenchie got stuck 3/4 the way up and the ledge we dug is not passable unless u can figure out a way to tie two 174's together....We def missed the best snow which the Boost fellas got two wekkends ago but it was still perty good, we unloaded about half mile past turtle cut off...should be a few more weeks up there, the snow boulders and slides were soft for us to push through in the chutes but then again it was nearly eighty...
