Ski took a shot , & Busted the left side where the A-arms are fastened .
I would rather fix it myself if possible , what do I need to know about the adhesive stuff, dissasembly ?

I got a quote from the dealership for 2600 bucks to replace mine. I am a do it yourself kind of guy, but it sounded like more than I wanted to tackle. I worked a deal with the dealer and rode out on a brand new 800 pro 163 for 1000 more than my estimate. And that was trading in the damaged sled being a 2012 with 500 miles in a 155 length.

Then I put some extra LE panels on it.

Yes. 2012 136 Switchback.
Only damage was to bulkhead . Not a scratch on arms spindle or even the skidplate.
Cant post pics from my phone , will put some up when I get back to the puter.

A guy on a Facebook group I belong to just did a tunnel and bulk head change on a rush. So it can't be that hard, my guess is buy the bulk head side you need if you can or else both sides together and just take your time and put stuff in labeled bags.

So you put 500 miles on for $3600. Aren't rental sleds cheaper to rent? That's $7.20/mi.

On that logic our 12k sleds are $6.00 a mile...sure some may make it further than 2k and some less but its time to face the music. Its an expensive toy.

There was more to me trading in than just the damage. I had a 12 and a 13 Pro 155's. I traded the 12 155 for the 13 163. So now I have 2 2013's, one in each length. Granted, both of my 155's got a lot of use since my father rides my sleds a lot, but now if I feel like riding a 163 I can. Now if I can just convince my wife to ditch her 2012 XP, we could own 3 of them. Yes, its an expensive hobby, but you cannot take all of your money to the grave with you.:face-icon-small-coo
