Bulk head Rivets

Made some tunnel reinforcements the other day.. went to the Doo shop and was looking for some beefy rivets. Purchased some rivets used on the bulkhead, however, when I went to pop them they wouldn't fit my air riveter. Turns out the nails are 9/64 as opposed to 1/8 as used on a normal 3/16 rivet. Any ideas where I can find a "nose" piece for my riveter to fit the larger nails?

Ive drilled out a nose piece before to fit a strange size rivet. Would that work for you??

Yeah I tried to open up one of the smaller nose pieces and it smoked my drill bit. tough stuff.....

use the next sized tip for the rivit gun, if u are maxed out, that means your riveter is too small to pull your rivit anyway. What kind of rivet are they? avex or regular pop?

I'm assuming that wwracer is referring to the 2 big Hemlock rivets that are used in the S-Module..?

When we replaced a S-module on one of these we used an air rivet gun to pull these rivets as they were tough MO FO's! I could not even imagine trying to do these with a hand rivet gun!
