BROWSE ALL = 403 FORBIDDEN ERROR

Several people have reported seeing a 403 Forbidden error when they try to use the BROWSE ALL function in any of the forums.

Somehow the code in our scripts got changed yesterday.

We are working on it right now, should have it restored soon.

Also happens if you use "Favorites" to access the Forum. Removed from favorites and reinstalled seemed to work O.K.????

We know what the problem is, and are trying to get it resolved.
It has to do with the internal server path.
Somehow it got reset last night back to the old path of www.snowest.com rather than the new one of www.snowestonline.com

The main menu bar on the top of the forum was updated yesterday.
The link in it to the FORUMS seems to be where the corruption began.

That link is now fixed and we are working on the BROWSE ALL.

Still not fixed on swap browse.

Not Found

The requested URL /forum/forumdisplayswapmeet.php was not found on this server.
Apache/2.2.0 (Fedora) Server at www.snowest.com Port 80

This one is a bit more challenging to resolve.
Something on the server is causing an unintended redirect to take place.
When you pass the mouse over the Link, the link IS correct.
But the correct link is being intercepted and changed back to the old forum link.

Still trying to get it fixed.

I thought it was because I hadn't paid my "premium member" dues. :face-icon-small-win
It almost would have been worth it.

Nope.
This is an error on our side.

But we would love to have you upgrade and enjoy all the goodies that come with premium membership.

Something similar is happening to all the old links in the helpful link sticky threads too...

The old snowest.com links are not being forwarded to the new snowestonline.com addresses, they are all remaining snowest.com.

Generating a 404 error on any old link.

Correct.
That one is going to take a bit longer to fix.
We are going to set up a reverse proxy server to that any call to Snowestonline.com is converted to snowest.com

That should solve the problem, but its going to be a couple weeks before that takes place.

The old snowest.com/forums is going to be just a memory now like we've been saying all along. . .
