Broken rear brackets

I After the last ride I noticed that both of my rear brackets are broken where the boards bolt up. Is this a common problem and will the Timbersled XP drop brackets work with the XM? Any alternative fixes, I don't really want to replace with OEM.

I read a few forums and this is the first I've heard of this. A guy posted he tore the mounts out of his suspension but I think there is more to the story. Do you jump pretty hard? I wonder if the Freeride drop brackets would be stronger and a direct bolt on? On the other hand I would rather break drop brackets then bend a tunnel.

It may have happened "just riding down the trail" :noidea: I am easily 250lbs with gear on and the trails to where I ride are pretty whooped out. Anyway I am not concerned or complaining about the brackets breaking just looking to avoid the same from happening next year. For those interested I'll post up a couple of pics tonight, looks to me like the aluminum fatigued over time.

The suspension mount and portion of the bracket that bolts to the tunnel are fine. The break happened in the right angle portion where the board mounts, right across the two inner bolt holes. Using the previously posted picture for a rough illustration, the break is where I added the red lines:
