Broken P22 bolt stuck in crank

For anyone that has had their clutch bolt fail, how did you extract the threaded end of the bolt that is still in the crank?

Heat and easy outs?

I think I read somewhere on here that letting the engine idle in reverse will work the bolt out.

I have had 2 come out by letting the sleds idle in forward I believe in less than a minute each

Tip the sled on the side and start it up

This should be a step-by-step process outlined in all Matryx user manuals.

Step one. Drop at dealer.

Step 2. Dealer installs new engine and clutch.

Go ride.

Worked for me.

One of our was deep in the back country need to install a clutch to get it out. Couldn’t tow it and to cheap to chopper it out lol

I've had primary bolts fail in my 22 and 24 matryx sleds. And am dumb enough to keep buying more, just because I just can't stand riding a doo anymore unless it's untracked blower pow in a meadow and sidehilling doesn't matter.

Yep had a 165 expert na last year did not like it love my 9r 165

Jumped ship in 22/23 season to Gen 5
Never looked back
Now I laugh when my buddies show me their new matryx sleds . ski doo like new girl just need to learn how to ride em
