Breaking the XM.........in

So took the XM out this weekend, to get those easy breakin miles. We did 79 miles on Saturday and close to 30 today. It did use alot of oil and about 10 gal of gas. Mainly road riding but 3+ feet or more above 3500'. This was good snow for this time of the season, and lets just say IMO, this sled is as good as they said it is! In the corners of the trails where the snow was deep, you can carve! It takes a very little blurp of the throttle with weight shift and your there, with no problems holding it, unless you lean to far and on your side you go! The trails had some jeep tracks, and thats ok untill you drop a ski in one going around a corner and it got a little dicey. Going from side to side, love the seat! didn't hit it at all. I did hear alot of track noise during breaking, not sure if track just needs to be tighten. I had the chance to ride my old 08 XP while we were out, felt like 2 differn't sleds, from the throttle to carving to just standing and riding. Loved the XP! just the XM is IMO a new style for Doo riders to learn. It feel's like you need to be on your game when riding fron the QUICK throttle response to the QUICK turning. I guess this will take a little time to get used to. The only bad thing so far has been the X sticker on both side panels has started to peel off and as it does this I can tell I'm starting to lose HP! LOL Dont know if it is just a bad sticker or with the new style of side panels this will always take place. I did see a couple of 13 Poo's out, and I have to say those are dam nice looking sleds! They were also breaking them in and with all the problems they are having, they too were a little concern! Step up Poo and fix the shafts!

Nice!

Damn - sorry to have missed those break in miles ... I bet the oil ratio slows down very soon. Think I am over next weekend - if you are up, I'm in for a ride.

FWIW, the peeling stickers gives it character. These are not trailer queens ... the harder you ride them, the better!

(PS, mine are peeling too) :face-icon-small-hap
