Interesting comments and votes he made last week, JUST prior to this announcement....

As a chair of Senate finance committee and author of a LOT of Obama Care, obviously he knew he would not be seeking reelection when he said that Obama Care is an impending "train wreck".

And then his vote against the background check bill.

Interesting to see what he will act like for the next year and a half since he's got not political ramifications and no re-election worries.
