Brand New Low Boost Alpine Nytro Turbo Kit

Be interesting to see if it has any noticeable lag. The Mitsu turbos are said to be quicker spooling than the Garrett's. I don't notice any lag with my Mitsu (MCX) under the seat.
 
The Gt 25 spools super fast and will boost fairly High. @ 10lbs on the 3 hole Yammie will be simalar to the 1200 W.C. I know cuzz i ride with one alot. I'm sure the 28 will even build alittle more power at the same boost with fast responce as well.

I see the install being the big diffence in this kit vs. full.. but as far a price.. Big kit 6500 ( including tank and seat worth around 1000 bucks) so that puts the smaller kit only about 500 dollars cheaper.. If this kit was around 5500 with storage seat and bigger tank included would be hard to beat.. really dont like having no storage... but good work on getting the low boost kits coming out.. thats three to chose from now.. MCX, Ulmer, and Alpine..

Alpine and ulmer have me right now as both are able to run higher boost if wanted on better fuel plus have higher base HP/boost.. Like alpine because they are local.. but like ulmer because of cast header front mount and abilty to have "proper" seat plus slightly bigger tank included in kit..

Again great to see companies putting low boost products out there.. :beer;
 
i am with you on the ulmer kit you get bigger tank & front mount & cheaper to buy even with our exchange on the dollar today & a little cheaper for me i have the programmer all ready from ulmer.
 
A buddy is looking for a turbo kit, he was quoted $13 500 for a kit for his Apex not low boost, is that what they are charging now for a kit installed?Said seat and and suspension if he wanted was extra on top of that.

That is way too high for a turbo kit installed. Most kits run 6000-7000 for the kit and up to about 2000 to install it, depending on who is installing it and what kit is being installed.
 
need an Apex kit

I too want a lower boost Apex kit, simple and dependable being key! No intercooler, or head shim running 6 lbs on 100LL with guages & stand alone fuel system for 5000.00, I'd buy one tomorrow for this!
Simple, dependable and affordable for all of us ordinary guys with wives and kids who can't drop big dollars on kits. You could even run an Aero turbo and alleviate the oil cooler lines and gain a bit quicker spool up......someone build us one.....definately still make a good profit!
Nice kit just not for the Apex and time we buy guages, clutching etc. it will be 6500.00 installed....looking at the final over all price it's not quite so cheap. Might as well go with the bigger kit for a grand more.

wow that sounds high that must be with taxs too but still seems a bit high that must be a full out race kit.
 
Dont think it was a race kit.That was just a 2860rs regular kit.Mabye he heard wrong.LOL.Cost is out of hand.Header and intercooler and turbo is all they are couple fittings and a oil adapter and I guess a tank.They would be selling alot more if price was even close to reasonable.You can get a sled now for 5000 seems pretty dumb to add couple parts that cost 10000 plus.A used sled with turbo is only 12000 lol.
