Has anyone replaced the Bearing on the brake side of the driveshaft on an 07 M8? Should this be done regularly? I have just over 5000km on mine. Just putting a new power claw on! Thought would check in and see waht other thought? Its still nice and smooth with no hard spots! Also can anybody tell me if the bearing go's in fromthe brake side or the tunnel side? Anybody know the part # For the bearing? Looked online and cant find it?

Yes, I did mine last season. I found the black plastic ring on the tunnelside bearing, was hanging loose on my drive shaft - making the bearing exposed for everything. The bearing was all dry...
The ´07 part# is replaced by a new one, as killerrf said - 2602-131. Make sure you also order the "Shield, Bearing", part# 2602-076 (see ´08 M part diagram). This shield makes sure the black ring on the bearing keeps in place, and protects the bearing against snow, water, dust etc.
Last, the bearing goes from the tunnel side.
Good luck!

Is there 2 bearings or just one? Also should i replace the sleeves? and the retaining clip?
