I lot of Questions coming in on how i liked my 660.

So i figured I'll Make a little thread.


It is in a 07 Switchback Chassis 600 CFI -4 144"

Right now Using a SLP single pipe.. looking in to Twin Pipes!

Elev. 1200 ft..

Just looking at my clutching i Know this engine is Over 150 HP!

Running A SLP Spring in Primary.. Pulling BB weights 68 GRAMS! Stock with a pipe i was luck to pull 63 grams of weight!

Secondary.. Pullling a 60/ 44 .36 Helix.. With a Black/Purple Spring..


I do own a 2011 Pro 800 Also..

Which one do i ride more.. I do like my 660 Better!

When i go back to riding my Pro.. the 800 Power feels like i am on a tractor! slow..

This 660 RIPS! Revs FAST! Very smooth Wide power band!

If your Looking to Boost your power in your 600! I Do it all over again!

PC5 or do they flash the ECU ? Does this lessen the dependability and do you have to do more frequent top ends than a stocker ? Im looking at Carls 660 kit hard.

Good to hear and I totally understand the difference between your 8 and a good 660. I'm pumped to get into my 13 600 shorty. They are just quicker to me better for tight trail riding. How many miles did you put on it?

Ive been running a HTG 660 in my wifes 02 rmk for 5 seasons now. I havent touched it. Its bullet proof. My Rugland full mod660 based on a 01 engine has been in my watercross drag sled for 5 years and when I got it . it was run 2 full seasons as a pro oval sled. It runs at 9200 rpms making 162 w/ larrys mod pipes, ignition and bored carbs
660's rule!

Carls says to do a top end at 3,000 miles on there 660.

I popped the top of mine (Carl's) off last fall at 1700 miles and saw no issue. 3000 might be a good target. Thanks.
