BR Tech Lightweight XP Hood/pod and sidepanels

BR Tech just made its first prototype of a hood and pod for the Ski Doo XP that will be tested out at this weeks Winter X-Games by rider Steve Martin. We hope to find any flaws or imperfections after this test and hopefully correct anything. After corrections they will be going on sale. With around a 16 lb weight saving it will be a good weight cut from you sled. Nice weight savings, but I'm not sure I like the look. I guess I would have to see one in person to make a decision.

Cory- are all of the pods gonna be one piece with the hood? I ask because I have a muff pot on my sled and need to be able to remove the hood during a ride. I saw the pic of the pod on your web site where the sled still has the stock hood on it and still looks good!

The hood will actually be available to be separate from the pod so it will be easier to remove. It should attach the same as stock does.

I just made sure with shop crew and we will be able to have the pod be separate from the hood or as one piece. Its up to the buyer. We should have all the kinks worked out and ready for sale in 2 weeks or so.

As i mentioned we will be able to make it two different pieces or one just depending on what your preference is. It will attach like the stock hood so it shouldnt be a problem to remove it.
