BPR9ES vs. BPR9EIX

I've been using the BRP9ES for 2 years now and have had excellent results.

I rarely, if ever, foul a plug and my sled runs great.

What is the benefit of the BPR9EIX over the BPR9ES?

Will it be a noticeable improvement?

I use the BPR9ES also and have tried the new BPR9EIX to see what all the hype was about. Nothing but backfires on startup every now and then, not all the time but annoying. Then when they were running no noticeable improvement just the few extra bucks out of my wallet and the annoying pops so off they came and a buddy tried them on his dragon and same results but a little less popping on his. Just hype IMO. But have read other CFI owners liked them so I am guessing it is a hit and miss thing?
