Boyd Coddington-dead at 63

It will be interesting to see how long dwayne lasts now that Boyd is gone cause Boyd's kid and dwayne don't seem to get along very well. Never really saw dwayne do much but run his mouth and stir up trouble. I would have sent him packing long time ago.

on the show did it not seem like his new wife was messing around with his painter charlie? i always thought that

I always thought that too. She was pretty broken up when Charlie left.

R.I.P. Boyd. He was a great hot rod visionary, but didn't seem to be a good people person (at least to the people who worked for him). As for Dwayne, he should've gotten his walking papers (and an azzkicking) a long time ago.

Charlie leaving about killed Boyd. But, when that CAD operator kid started working for Foose on the side, that really drove him crazy.

I have to say, I watched Boyd, and Foose, and there isn't much comparison. Can't blame those guys for wanting to switch teams. The attitude and energy alone would make me want to work for Foose.

Dwayne did what Boyd wanted. Someone needed to kick some *** in the shop. Never could figure out if all those great cars were actually designed by Boyd, or he was just the owner. The show would have been great if they had left out the Drama and concentrated on the build.

Thats too bad. I can't believe it took me this long to hear about it. I was shocked. He just seemed to young to go. I guess he will have to build jesus a sweet ride with magnaflows.

Wow, thats sad to hear..:( He built some really nice stuff, the guy was kinda ornery..but thats just the type of guy he was. Sad to see someone go so soon..RIP
