Bowl games are set!!!

Utah and Bama in the Sugar bowl will be a good one to watch, but one I think most of you folks will be interested in is BSU and TCU in the Poinsettia! Dude this will be a true fight, no more gimmies BSU...TCU's D is for real! I can't wait!!!

TCU isn't used to playing for big crowds so all you BSU fans head to San Diego so you can give them a run for there money. I don't know who to root for I hate TCU but they are in our conference, I like BSU but they are not in our conference yet....Who cares it will be a great game.

The west is coming with a vengence.. I would love to see BYU get beat by BSU and would love to see TCU beat USC but I don't set up the bowl games. Either way I think we have some great bowls coming, not really for the orange bowl settlement but you can only do what you can do, right!! All I Can say IS>>>GO UTES!!! Bring out the team we've seen all year and what a bowl game it will be at the superdome. GOT RED???-MERL BTW it is still snowing here in UT...finally! Let it snow BABY!!

They make way too much money on the bowls to go to a playoff system...

I think that you could generate just as much revenue or more with a playoff. You could still have all the bowl games they would just be one of the playoff games. If you got rid of conference championship games and had a 32 team bracket the season would still end on new years. If the Big 12 or SEC or who ever doesn't think they would make as much money it is obvious that they are clueless or not as good as they think. If they had 4 teams in the playoff they could possibly have 15 "bowl" games with one or more of their schools in it. They sure arn't getting 15 bowl games now. I bet that fan interest would increase in the "bowl/playoff" games and end up having even larger payouts. Plus it gives teams like Utah or Boise the chance to prove that that they can play with the big boys.

It doesn't seem to matter! You can see that with the fact that we (BSU) weren't invited to a BCS bowl this year EVEN after defeating #5 ranked Oklahoma two years ago and going undefeated this year.

Where is the deserved respect for that?

A march madness playoff isn't going to work because you cannot expect these kids to play football games on a daily basis. They need time in between games to recoop. But there still needs to be something done.

Funny thing is that A LOT of people feel the same way and yet the BCS bowl officials felt like BSU wouldn't be a big enough draw card. How many peeps would watch BSU against a "big dog" team in a BCS bowl in the hopes of seeing them "win again" in another so called upset? I bet thousands!!!!
Just watch and see how many viewers tune into the Poinsetta Bowl on the 23rd to watch, one of the more watched bowls is my bet
