Bought my wife her first sled for New Years.

My wife is a simple lady who made a simple choice.

Criteria.

1. Had to have electric start.
She hated all the pull starts.

2. Had to be a 4 stroke, as the exhaust from the 2 strokes gave her a headache.

3. Had to be comfortable for her butt to sit on all day.


Those three requirements kinda narrowed down the field pretty quickly.

Hopefully she will have her maiden ride this weekend.

Comfort......that was one thing I noticed with just sitting on the new sleds last year (at our club shindig, the dealers all brought in sleds for showing). That seat on the Nytro was THE most perfect seat (for me) out of every brand. I was looking to see if it would work on a Cat for whenever I get to upgrade.

Same thing Sue thought.
I had her "sit" on all the different sleds on the market, and her response to the Yamaha was hands down the winner.

My wife volunteered to allow my son to ride the sled through its 300 mile initial break-in period, so she could get on it and not have to worry about the 6,000/8,000rpm limit.

We got in 101 miles this last weekend, so we are moving right along.

Hoping to get my wife up on the sled in the next weekend or two.

Will make sure to take along the camera.

I have a 08 Nytro MTX, I agree it is a very comfortable seat. Put a Mtn. Tamer suspension under it and she'll really be able to get around.
