I bought a 2004 summit 800 151. Has less than 1000 miles on sled, has straightline head, porting, single pipe and twin silencers(straighline), aftermarket pistons, reed spacers with boyeson carbonfiber reeds, straightline clutching spot-on, lightweight wave brake rotor, cold air intake vent, KMOD rear suspension with Fox zeropro shocks, 8" billet wheels
I ride out in the Snowies and was wondering if there is anything that I should know with this sled. The previous owner said it runs great and it did during my test run. He also said that they run race gas/premium mix when out west in high altitude. Is this necessary? What if I ride at lower elevation? He said it isn't but I want to make sure I don't mess anything up (aka blow this engine up).
Anything else I should do or be aware of besides getting rid of the offset skis?
Any estimates on the horsepower this machine is making?
Thanks in advance for the help!
