I've been holding back a response since my early post.
Real customer service - taking back the crap fabric/zipper seats the past two years, and giving us who ask at least $300 credit for a new wonder-2012 seat. More junk zips are just more junk zips. If the new one is really the answer, and the seat I bought last year is junk compared to the new, then credit them. Do this, and guys would be praising the seat and BOSS. Otherwise, stop crowing.
