Boss seat

Trying to install a new Boss seat onto my 2008 Apex MTX. Doesn't seem to fit very well. Seems like I have to trim the black plastic piece on either side of the tank. Anybody else run into this problem. Is the velcro enough to keep the back of the seat in place, ecspeilly when your jumping from side to side.

I had to trim the black plastic a little bit too! The velcro on the back will hold jumping side to side. At least mine has for a couple of years now. A guy can shake the back of the seat and it might seem like it's not very tight but the only time I've lost my seat was when my sled rolled 30 or so times. Just keep an eye on the snaps and you should be fine. When I mounted my snaps I put them on so I had to stretch the strap/button material very tight. Hope this helps
