Boss Seat?

Anyone running one of the new Boss seats on their IQ RMK? How does it compare to the stocker? Quality? Would you buy again?

Thanks

I have not seen the Boss seat for the IQ RMK but I would think it is a waste of money for this sled. The stock seat is very good, not like the old sleds that had you sitting down with your knees above your waist. Better to spend your money on other things for your sled IMHO!!

The storage sounds good, but harder, the stocker is a tailbone cracker to begin with. I, personally would spend my money on a pipe or pcV.

Love mine, just like Cumminsnorth said the storage rocks. But if u got a wide a** like me its a must, mine would always hurt on the old seat because of how narrow it is. Personaly i think it is a must buy for the sled.

A friend of mine has one. I rode it a little, it is stiffer, holding you up a little higher than stock, and wider than stock. Didn't spend enough time on it to determine if I likied it or not. When I do sit down, it's on the trail heading in, when I'm tired, and the softer stock seat would feel better at this time, imo, and the lower center of gravity is better on the trail if trying to corner fast. The storage is real nice though.

Was able to check one out yesterday on the hill. Now I go 245ish so....Yes the foam is hard as he!!....to hard in my opinion...to many zippered compartments for the available storage....zipper tabs are of poor quality, they will break off over time...KEEP the stock seat...use an under seat storage bag and a tunnel bag of some sort if you want more storage...2010 stock seat cover offers a better non-slip surface than the 08/09 seats...Like it has been stated, spend you money on better performance upgrades for your sled....IMHO

Thanks for the input. I think I will keep the stock seat. The only reason I was looking at the boss was for storage and a less slippery top.

Look into the Mountain Assault seat. Does not have the storage but 3 times more comfortable. Without a doubt the most comfortable aftermarket seat I have sat on. You can choose your choice of heights as well. Also it sticks to you like glue.
