Hey guys,
Just wonder about fit and finish and how are you guys liking the boss seat on the PRO. I have alway rode with the Boss on my rev, then on the XP and loved the seat. They say about 2 inches higher and a little lighter. Just wanted an opinion before I get one. I installed the air frame running boards a coouple weeks back and was amazed at the performance. This mod is one everyone should consider, at least the guys I rode with last week are all ordering sets for there sleds before next season. But if anyone has some info on the fit and finish of the Boss I would appriciate it.
Thanks in advance, MikeP

I have one on a Pro. Posted on other threads here, too. Fit is spectacular. I've own two Boss seats before. No problem with tears or durability, but I do care for my equip. Perfect width in the rear, and narrow in the front for me. Stiffer than anyone else's stock seat, okay with me.

Two issues come to mind - the zips, especially the new 11 waterproofs, are still an issue. You must be very careful with them, and they will/may still have issues jumping teeth. It's insane they can't figure this out. Second, the cordura-like material that borders the seat, about 3 inches down from the top frabric, 1+ inches wide, attracts snow and forms ice right where you stand. I get small balls on the inside of each knee on deep days. It's annoying. Hard to chip off, really needs to thaw to clear. Experimenting now with wax and Pam on that thin strip. I'm not the only one to experience this, heard about it before I had it, and it was described perfectly. Third gripe - too many small pockes (12, 10 of them zipped), and a abit more room in the main would be nice. Overall, still ahead of the stocker. Until a zip fails completely on the snow, I'm sure.

I am glad I asked nothing worse than chitty zippers. Anyone have the Skinz seat how the fit and finish on that one, are people happy with it?
