Boss seat on a 2005 Edge?

Boss claims their seats weren't designed to fit the 2005 Edge. Anybody try it with any luck?

Umm... Ya... i have one one my 05 rmk 700 and it fits great...
i would not have it any other way!

Thats weird, I thought 02 thru 05 edges were all the same.

I have one on my 05 800 rmk. Great fit, no probs.

Seriously, the guy I spoke to at Boss said the seats varied a little from 2005 to 2007 for the Edge models because of slight changes in the gas tank. They (Boss) specifically exclude those years from their list of seats they build.

I ordered one today so I am going to go with the general consensus and believe it will work. It's for the future wife's sled so it can be a little off anyways.
