Anyone using the Boss Noss system on their Snowbike? If so, what are your thoughts?
I have a 525SX KTM and am thinking about NOS for it. Most of what I have found available is for a fuel injected bike, which mine is not.

Hey treewelldweller, just saw your post here and thought I might know who this was. As you know I have the same ktm525 but in an exc version. In my thoughts on converting over to the shifter crowd ( yes still a rope puller), I have considered trying to use the 525. But would also like a little more power than what the bike puts out stock. In researching the noss idea myself I came to the conclusion that there are too many variables in temperature and altitude to make it work reliably. I felt that going big bore 570 with some other engine mods may be better for reliability and consistency with the convenience of not having to refill bottles and remove for dirt ridding. Yes, it's more money, but I think it will work out better in the long run in my situation. I've looked at Thumper racing and read some of there customers reviews and I think this is the route I'm going for next year's first snowbike. I'm looking at getting a hold over/or used timbersled kit in the spring and do engine work next fall. Not to discourage your noss idea though as I have seen it run well on carbed snowmobiles. Hopefully someone else who's done it can chime in with setup ideas...can't wait to get back to your area this season and ride with you again.

Boss Noss ? Or Not?

So you are the "Boondog". Awesome! Hope all is well with the family. If I hadn't told you, I updated to the new 2016 MH kit. I'm keeping the other for my WR450 for family and friends. Let me know when you are coming out so we can go explore.
I have NOS bottles, lines, switches, connectors, jets, and brackets, but don't want to just start squirting NOS and blow things up. I believe these folks fell off the face of the earth for awhile and it looks like maybe they're back. That is what I am trying to find out. A 20hp shot could make such a difference. We have color(white) on the mountain and folks are starting the snow dance. Looking forward to the "Pineapple Express."
Let it snow!!!

Hi all,
I have some Boss NOS kits to sell. I have one that is unused and one that is used and then I have two buddies that have kits and won't be moving them to their new bikes. The kits work, but we never had a good bottle mount and everything we did failed in one way or another. I have a more robust bottle mount design ready, but haven't built it yet and its untested. We did have some issues with the arming switch too, but was easy to fix. PM me if you want to talk about what I have.

Now that is pretty trick. I like that. Is this a specific type of mount that is attached to the underside of the fender? Would like to see some up-close pics, if you could. I have a small gas can I attach to the frame work on top of the tunnel and would like to keep it there to maintain the weight toward the center of the machine. With the NO2 tank stuffed up in the fender it should leave room for it.

Curious as to what the bottle mount looks like and how it mounts on the bike. Any pictures?
