Boost tube ripped and no warranty

I have a 2024 Doo 850 turbo. It only has 200 miles on it. The boost tube (the big rubber one) ripped and was dumping all my boost. I was on a trip so I took it to a local dealer - not mine of course. They replaced the $30 tube. I pay $50 deductible since I was into BEST warranty by 2 weeks. I now get a call from that dealer saying I owe $200 dollars. I call BRP and can’t talk to warranty dept only dealers can. Customer service opens a claim and calls me back and tells me that it won’t be covered because rubber parts aren’t covered.
Fairly frustrating to be honest. I would expect more from Ski Doo I guess

Is this your first skidoo warranty claim? Not sure why you would expect more this is typical doo warranty.

This is my first warranty claim with them. After having four other Doo sleds.

Maybe the frenchies really don't like paying for rubbers?

Seems an odd distinction for warranty coverage vs not.

It sounds like it's the dealer's problem. They told you it was covered, did the work, you paid them, and now they want more money? No thanks!
