Boost it controller combined with better fuel can be adjusted to remedy that sitch in a few secs. IMO.

I think I had a higher compression head on at that time, I have the stock head back on the sled now..
I always thought was the sled on the rev limiter . Good to know it was DEt.
Knock on wood , over 1700 miles on the sled , super fun to drive, and not one issue. Only maintenance was checking the reeds , replaced the Orings and exhaust donuts.
