Does anybody have the advanced settings instructions they can email me? I have called and emailed Boondockers and they can't seem to figure out how to send them to me.

Thanks, Daren

man, if that guy who promised to send them to you would have come through....

what a dik!

Shoot me a call, I lost the paper with your ## I'll send them over (for real this time)

how's it running btw?

I can fax the 4 page school Control Box Tutorial to you
Went to a school in July from Boondockers....

I have a post in here somewhere with the attachments but it is pretty far back and in the old 4-um

Send some Numbers and I fax the entire tutorial

When I click to send you a message via e-mail, the system willnot let me attach anything to the message- I need an actual addy to attach them for you.

Daren,

I shot you what I got, but I get a feeling that Mtn extreme's might be more helpful. I tried to explain more than BD does, but still some honest instructions would be sweet.

That's the add. on your computer, shouldn't paste on a browser.

Thanks for the PDF, I want to get that tutorial, the actual boonie instructions pretty much need a translator. I have the adv instructions & a few other pages that they sent me with my various add-ons, just too lazy to remember to scan them in!

After much time on the phone & playing with the box, I have shifted to TPS mode for lo-mid-hi transition control, at high altitude (12k+) we tend to drop into mid where we have low fuel numbers on WFO climbs in certain conditions, tried just dropping the mid-hi down a few points, to get it to stop dropping into mid, but ended up with a blubbery mid. Adding tps is pretty simple & seems to be more consistent, definately smooths out the gradual throttle squeeze & at full throttle it is on hi, every time.

The LED & capture button options are pretty cheap & are very good tuning tools. You learn a lot about what the box is doing very quickly. You feel a stumble, hit the button & it shows you which setting you're in, no guessing. Want to know if you're in mid, set the LED to mid & it turns on when the sled is in mid, so if you're on a hard climb & the red light is blinking, you better have higher numbers in there.

Also with the TPS wire you can use the exv fuel if you have a powervalve stumble.

If Boondocker told people all the things that could be done with this box & explained how to use it nobody else would ever sell a box in my opinion.
