Boondocker "OS" number?

I think I'm gonna go back to pump gas on my turbo, so I'm gonna set half of the maps up for PG and the other halve leave them as I've tuned them for RG ...

But ... when I did the RG upgrade, I had to adjust the OS number and the CR number.

I'm gonna leave the CR number where I have it, I have that set to where the aux injectors come on at ~%90 duty cycle ...

The OS was supposed to be changed to 20 per BD instructions so I did ..

What was it for the PG setup? If I remember right the OS number was zero for the default PG setup ...

What does this OS number control anyway?

Indecisive sally... pump gas... weak.

Were you just having a tough time getting it running smooth? Why the step back?

Throttle response is better without the high octane fuel ... That, and I can't seem to get it clutched right for 12 psi.

Shifts too slow even though its holding R's right at 7900 .... and I can't get a shallower turbo helix from dalton without it being a custom cut..

It worked great on 8.5 psi, I think I'll just stick with that :)

lots of guys around running 12+ lbs with clutching and tuning that is spot on. what are you running, maybe someone can help with your clutching and tuning

ditto above.

I know many people running 12, and I don't think anyone has needed to go to a shallower helix... maybe it's a matter of there being another issue on the bottom end? Reeds, fueling...

8.5... pfft, might as well be on a fan cooled 550.:face-icon-small-win:D

Right now I'm running the BD-spec 36/46 helix, stock secondary spring.

D&D MagnaForce weights, 83g (all magnets installed) and a Cat green primary spring.

Seems like it just shifts too slow.

It could be my reeds, I checked them a few weeks ago and they were fine, but they could have been chipped since then.

But also back to my original question: What does the "OS" number control?

Clutch kit.

You need a clutch kit.:loco:

My kit will let you run both just add weight from 6-18LB no problem.

Weights 77-84G
Spring
Helix Or keep your helix and it will wind like a crazy. I prefer the straight 44 or 46.

OS

Well my understanding is milliseconds after but not a 100%. So the primaries fire then 20 Mil the secondaries fiire.

CR is the crossover point when the secondary injectors turn on. Its a value of 4.5 ie: if you have it set at 18 your secondary injectors would turn on at 4#'s of boost.

OS as I have been told is the initial amount of fuel that the injectors flow and will affect the entire fueling curve. So if you raise this value you may have to lower your PSI HI # a little

And upon further inspection, I didn't get my set screws on my weights centered right and the weights were digging into the spider :face-icon-small-con

Fixed that little problem.

Also, it probably would behoove me to put new bushings, o-rings, etc in this clutch, its rather haggard :(
