Boondocker Oil Reservoir volume?

I have the GT 2860 kit and have heard that the Boondocker reservior is larger than the stock.

My question is, What should I be looking for as a safe mark on my dipstick?

And is your reading screwed all the way back in or just resting on the top befrore screwing it back in?

Does anybody know just how much more volume it has than stock?

I have the same turbo kit and I just fill to the low part of the dipstick when it is not screwed in hope that helps

Do you mean you add enough oil so that it reads low on the dip stick or do you mean the very bottom of the dip stick where it is round.

If you mean just to the bottom of the round part it seems like the low oil light would be on all the time.

Chuck,
I run mine in the middle of the high and low spots, with it screwed all the way in. Once it starts getting lower, on occasion the oil code gets thrown when I stand it on end, or have an abrupt stop. So I know its time to add a little.

I add oil up to the bottom line on the dipstick with the dipstick resting on the top and not screwed in. I have found that anywhere between the lowest mark and the top of the round part is fine.
