Boondocker Ezjacker 2.0???

has anyone tried installing an ezjacker for a Z1 turbo on the proclimb? My dealer seems to think this is the answer as my jacker 1.9 still has no delivery date from D&D. Any thoughts? Its a little bit more costly but has severl different options for different horsepower levels.

I switched to the 4 stroke cat because of the promise of easy to add horsepower. I'm not looking forward to trying to ride the sled stock. I probably would have just kept my 09 M8 for one more year if I knew I may be riding a stock sled.

Any insight on this issue would be great.

Thanks,

Put a light weight exhaust on it and let it rip. Im not going to tell you it runs like it makes 400 hp because it doesnt. But this sled never stops amazing me, just with an exhaust it picked up 4 lbs of boost and 300 rpm. Ride it until someone has an ecu reflash that has been tested on the PC. Stay tuned...It could be me.

What exhaust are you using that gave you those results? I still havent decided what to get for mine and have been thinking about just a can.

Thanks

We have built a few and all of them have similar results. I like the straight pipe but have been running a Muzzy carbon fiber muffler. Anything thats passive should flow much better and show you a boost increase. These are real world results not a dyno. Stock against stock with free flowing exhaust nothing more.

Sorry but im kind of a newbie to this so i dont quite understand what you are saying. I have been looking at just a can... either speedwerx or turbo dynamics. Would a can like either one of these show 300rpm improvement on its own, or do I have to do the entire exhaust mod from the wastegate and turbo all the way out...?

Thanks

Those mufflers mentioned do show pretty big gains in power. They know what they are doing and build great and proven products and spend hundreds of hours perfecting them. They are having to deal with sound level limits so they tend to be on the big side so the weight loss is not as big. If you run a down pipe from the three bolt flange and out you stand to lose 14-16 lbs . Again, this is seat of the pants dyno absolutely nothing scientific about it, other than knowing that turbos do not like back pressure.
