boon docker box setup on a m1000

Just ordered the bmp fuel pressure guage. working on getting the koso guage and twin probes. what do you have?

I have the BMP adjustable regulator and gauge, and the Koso duel EGT's.

Mount the probes just like the instructions say. 4" from the exhaust side piston skirt. Should run a good 1250 without trouble. 1300-1350 watch out.

Not to hi-jack. But do you guys think the numbers will change on my set-up? I had it dialed in pretty good last year but took off the RKT head and ported the cylinders and milled the stock head to match. Putting it together right now. Just wondering how much that will change the numbers. Thanks

Thanks for the info. I ran the stock pipe most of last year and the only difference between us would be the sno pro air box. When I put the pipe on I ran
3000 00 00 00
5000 00 00 00
6500 05 08 10
7200 03 10 17
7500 04 12 16
7800 14 12 18

these are the settings when I stuck the ring. Maybe the 7600 rpm had something to do with the stuck ring.

14 At 7800rpm in the low setting seems way to high. From what I was told on the low settings in the upper rpms you can leave that at zero. Because you will never have your throttle in the low setting at the higher rpms. You dont run 7800 rpms at 1/4 throttle. I'm not saying thats wy you burt down it just caught my attention.

I noticed that also. But wasn't going to say anything because like you said you are going to be in the mid to hi at those R's. And to be honest you should never hit the 7800 range on a m1000 unless you have some secret setup that needs those kind of R's. I have numbers in my 7800 just to help with the fuel curve that the BD box makes when it blends the 7500 and 7800 and the 7200.

Yea know, looking at this a bit more I would say your 5000 setting of all zero's probably had the most to do with the stuck ring. You have no fuel added at 5000, then it add fuel at 6500. Lets say a full 8 points in the mid at 6500, so at 5500 you are only adding 2.6 and at 6000 you are adding 5.2 this is the LEAN spot prior to the power valve opening. IMO you should have 4-5 points all the way across on the 5000 also. That way your fuel curve between 5-6500 is more aggressive. just a thought.

On the bd box 5 to 6 points equal a jet size. also a o/2 sensor really helps. but you still have to check plugs and piston wash you cant rely on o2 sensors and egt's
