Bone

Talked to a buddy of mine who went up yesterday. Said that there was close to 1 1/2' to 2' when you get back in towards Greys Lake Outlet. No base at all and you have to be really careful when you get off the roads. But hey-it's Bone! What da ya expect!?

We went up this afternoon. We rode up Taylor creek and then over towards bone. They were grooming the "W". In some places we went there was 2-4 feet of powder with a icy base that was probably 4-8 deep. It was snowing when we left.

we rode up taylor creek, over the W and into girl scout camp on sunday. we basically left from the foothills of idaho falls (about 5 minutes from our shop) and rode the entire area. still no base like everywhere else but we put 60 miles on the sleds and 8 miles on the trucks. not too bad for being bone. snowing and blowing when we left the truck but raining and calm when we got back. should be another decent year to ride up there again. we had one of our best rides last season on super bowl sunday in high basin. let me know if you guys ever want to go for a night ride after work up there-fire, beer, moonlight, BBQ.

I went up today and the snow has settled a ton since the weekend. Now there is a good base so all it needs is another 2-3 feet of snow on top of it.

Bone update

Went up yesterday. Snow was a little heavy until you gain elevation. Went through pole bridge up to castle rock, sawmill to brockman and back out dan creek. Good base with about 18" of new. had sled problems along with flat light so didn't do much playing but snow was by far the best its been so far.
