Boise Sled Show - Lets try this again

I threw up a post yesterday on the Boise sled show and did not get a message out that I intended..... my bad.

First off, it was great having the swapmeet. I think this is going to catch on even more in years to come and will be a great addition to the show.

Second, as always, it was great to be able to go in and shop all the vendors and be able to walk away with the goods. And you can't beat the kind of personal attention you get at the show. I'm revisiting my running boards this year and Rob even dug up a tape measure so we could get some dims. And he is brainstorming how to get me updated to those sweet new Better Boards. 2CoolVents helped me out by splitting out a complete kit to get me just 1 vent, I sure appreciated it.

Thanks to all the vendors that came out and put in the effort to get their products to us here in Boise. You did a great job. The mod sled show was awesome.

I think we could help the vendors out and guarantee their attendance by either running the show a little later on Saturday or run it through Sunday afternoon. This was the first year that I remember them not running the show on Sunday.

Cheers!
Chris

then you have not been going to the show because i have been going for a while and they have never had it on sunday.

B - No idea. Like Chris I thought it was kind of stupid when they did it, but then again the Boise market is pretty small. Attendance was just under 3,000 for the whole weekend. For comparison Jim Phelan mentioned that Edmonton is 18,000 while I was talking to Lane & Steve Sat afternoon.

Some people rather go to church etc rather than a snowmobile show?
WTF is up with that? So maybe poor attendance is not worth the vendors extra day of travel;)

I have gone every year Mark...maybe I haven't paid close enough attention...they do sell beer there and that is a weak spot for me.

I know it has not always been that way, I have a pic of my son sitting on my Mod sled in the show on Sunday in 2004.

Cheers!
