Blue Mountains (SE Washington)

Well, I don't think it was Mike that stopped to ask if we were doing ok, but I think it was the boy wearing a plumnuts jacket. I had the 900rmk and the 700rmk that I was tuning in the dial a jets for. We also had the 22 month old boy out and he just loves to snowmobile. The snow was hard as heck, I wanted to try out the Nitrous on the 900, but I couldn't get traction without it. The skis left grooves, but the track sure didn't. How was your day of riding? We just ended up tuning in the open meadow and running the boy around until he fell asleep back at the truck. Steph and I (Todd) have known Janet for a long time and have met mike a couple of times.

Hi Todd and Steph.. Janet said "hi" as she is on call this weekend so no can ride. On the XP.. it was me (Mike) that stopped.. Rob was riding Hunter's Cat. We rode until 3:30.. climbing stupid things and boon docking where you usually can't go.. sun, good friend, no break downs or other damage.. all was good... but a couple feet of powder would make it even better!

Steph didn't think it was you. She said you looked too young. You gotta like that! My other buddies sled was running way to lean and too hot as well. We didn't have any jets to get his running right so we just played where we were. I'm glad you had a good time and didn't roll your sled on the hard, icy snow. It would have done some damage today.

A day on a cat!

All I can say is wow!! The cookies from the dark side taste pretty good. Thanks to Hunter, Mike and Janet (for letting Mike go and play). :beer;

Janet really it was a terrible day!:D

Sorry mike the pics were just ok. We will have to go out and take more of you tail walking.:D

BTW the sled with the orange skid plate is me and my rental.

to be clear.. the XP was standing on its' tail out of horsepower... the Cat was standing on its' tail due to a bump in the snow...hehe

Howdy Plumnuts and the gang! Hav'nt been on Snowest much this season, since I've been busy getting intoxicated by all this great powder we've been getting the past 3 months.

Just spoke with UltraPig today, I guess he's thinking about crossing over to GREEN. This should prove to be very exciting. Those M series are good; just will take getting use to the higher profile. The past years, I've test rode:

Dragon
M1000
older REV
New REV

and I'd say it's a close call between the M and REV.
Dragon's way to hard to figure out so I'm passing on that report. Still love the lower platform of mine.

I'll try to make a trip south this season.

Regards, from Karl in Spokane

I think I am going to need a new name. The Great Pumpkin might be good???

hard snow.. tons of people out on short tracks.. some towing sleds.. mountain sleds can climb everything... think I'm going to try and hook up and go North.

Who is riding this Sunday and where?? Priest was pretty good on Sunday a little icy (Scary) in place but for the most part the snow was pretty soft. The cat is awesome but needs some work. It is getting reflashed as we speak and I am going to throw 7 gram heavier weights at it. One of the power valve cable is fraying but it looks like it will be covered on a service bulletin.

Cat is working good. Trying to change the weights right now. All I can say is that the 68g grams will never go back in (they are fubar). Terrible time getting the set screws out. Broke an allen wrench in one and it wont come out. Dad is bringing the die grinder down tomorrow. I should have read snwest first. You have to apply some heat to them to get the set screws out. Not sure where I am riding yet on Sunday. I might have to give the Plumnuts crew a call and come north on Sunday.

It is a sad day. I think we should all bow our head in silence. A close friend is no longer with us in the Blues. The "PIG" has left for greener pastures north of the border..............................................................................................................

Okay enough of that. Now I need a new name. My girls call the M8 "The Bug". I am thinking that just might be my new name. Or should I keep my existing name as a tribute to the old faithful one.
